Jetstar Asia has officially ceased operations across Southeast Asia, including key routes to Indonesia, marking the end of its two-decade presence in the region. The final flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur took off on July 31, 2025, in an emotional farewell involving staff and crew. The closure, part of Qantas Group’s restructuring plan, has led to the retrenchment of 500 employees — though more than half have already received new job offers or interview calls.
