Inbizzy, Seoul – South Korean artificial intelligence (AI) chip startup Rebellions Inc. has raised $250 million in Series C funding, bringing its valuation to approximately $1.4 billion.
The fresh funding represents a major milestone for Rebellions as it seeks to accelerate mass production and the development of next-generation AI chips, amid surging global demand for advanced computing infrastructure.
Among the key investors in this funding round is Arm Holdings Plc, which entered as a strategic partner. The collaboration is expected to enhance Rebellions’ capability to deliver AI chip solutions for data centers and expand its reach in the global semiconductor market.
Rebellions stated that the capital will be directed toward large-scale production and continued product innovation. The company emphasized that these efforts are crucial to competing with established players in the semiconductor and AI industries.
The successful fundraising also reflects growing investor confidence in South Korea’s technology ecosystem, particularly in AI-driven semiconductors, which are increasingly becoming a core driver of global digital economic growth.
